[Mankato] Weekly Meeting Dec. 10

Commander's Remarks: 
As you are all aware we are still under the PHASE 0 Covid-19 guidelines, as a result we will continue meeting online this week. Please note the new Meeting Link is a Zoom link. 

I want to commend the cadet leadership team for their great work at keeping the meetings engaging and fun. As we did this past week it is important that everyone be present at the meeting, so please follow the following rules: 

Have your cameras on so you are visible to others at all times.
Have your microphone muted unless you are talking or called on to speak.  
Wear your entire uniform, not just the part you think others will see. (You may be asked to stand up, so everyone will be able to see your entire uniform.)  

This week our uniform is either ABU’s / BDU’s for Cadets, and ABU’s / BDU’s or Corporate for Seniors.

We want everyone to stay healthy and follow the MN Wing guidelines for our Phase 0 protocol which was emailed out to all members.  It is also listed on the National website at:  https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/covid-19-remobilization
 
I look forward to seeing you all online this week and hope we can begin to meet in person again very soon.

Announcements: 
All Testing - Requested by Tuesday Evening 2359H. No exceptions. 
Cyber Patriots - Our next event for CyberPatriot is Competition Round 2 December 10th-13th. We will be working from home per CP guidelines. Contact 1st Lt West at rwest1 at blc.edu to coordinate your time slot and which image you will be working on. Download instructions to the competition images will be sent to me on Tuesday evening. I will forward them to the team so that you can download the images ahead of time.
Round 3 - The third competition round is January 22-23, 2020.
Arrangements for the 2nd and 3rd rounds will be scheduled as we go.
Kansas Wing Encampment - Salinas, KS - Dec. 26, 2020 -Jan. 2, 2021 Cadets can attend other wing’s encampments with Squadron commander’s approval.  Please consider attending this great training if you are able.
