Commander's Remarks: 
Greetings Seniors, Cadets, and Parents,
This week we will be meeting at the Airport Terminal due to weather concerns. We will have a very full schedule, so you won’t want to miss this meeting. There will also be having a Safety Briefing and two training blocks. 

Due to COVID-19 we ask that all members take their temperature at home or by a no-touch thermometer before entering the meeting place. Facial coverings are required indoors, even if social distancing can be maintained. When outdoors, social distancing should be sufficient. All Testing - Requested by Tuesday Evening 2359H. No exceptions. 

Mankato Squadron Fun Run Fundraiser - In an effort to promote physical fitness, our squadron will be doing a fundraiser run on May 22, at Bluff Park in Mankato. Use this pledge sheet <https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Y9_SjCDjKSkNNCp8hswWZ1IHv0gC9ASG/view?usp=sharing> for sponsors. This can be per mile, or a total amount.
 
Training - 0830-0930 Sat. April 10, meeting in the back parking lot of Mankato West Sr. High between the school and the YMCA (19983 Old State Highway 66, Mankato, MN  56001 United States), remember to bring a CAPF 60-80 <https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/media/cms/CAPF_6080_Permission_Slip_6DEA6DC6D05D1.pdf>. 
Members are responsible for transportation to and from this event. 
Dress appropriately in athletic attire and bring water. 

2021 MN Wing Encampment Dates - All activities are being planned at Camp Ripley. Note the CSW and CTW will most likely be hybrid or virtual. EPS and Encampment are dependent upon MN being in phase 3 of COVID-19 remobilization. 

Cadre Training Weekend (CTW): April 29-May 2
Encampment Prep School (EPS): June 4-6
Encampment: Students June 26 - July 3, Staff June 25 - July 4

Mankato Squadron Tan T-Shirt - If interested, we have tan t-shirts with the squadron logo on them that can be worn under the ABU’s.  If you are interested they are $12.00 each.  Please see 2nd Lt. Mader if you are interested.
