Commander's Remarks: 


On Saturday, February 20 we had a great turn out for our Achievement Saturday. We had 6 cadets do review boards who will be able to promote the first week of March. The new office space continues to function extremely well, so make plans to attend our next meeting this coming Thursday! 

Thank you to all the cadets, seniors and parents who participated in selling / purchasing Kwik-Trip gas cards. We had a goal of selling $10,000 worth by the end of February and we succeeded! This activity raised our squadron $2,000! Well done!

Under Phase II guidelines, units can meet and activities can occur with no more than 50 people in a room. All members will take their temperature at home or by a no-touch thermometer before entering the meeting place. Facial coverings are required indoors, even if social distancing can be maintained. When outdoors, social distancing should be sufficient. Kwik Trip Cards - There will be more cards available soon. Cadets are asked to have the money or check for the cards prior to being given them to distribute. Please talk to Lt. Col. JoEllen Peters at 507-327-0362 or jopeters at hickorytech.net to coordinate for these. 




2021 MN Wing Encampment Dates - All activities are being planned at Camp Ripley. Note the CSW and CTW will most likely be hybrid or virtual. EPS and Encampment are dependent upon MN being in phase 3 of COVID-19 remobilization. 

Cadre Selection Exercise (CSE): Mar 12-14
Cadre Training Weekend (CTW): April 29-May 2
Encampment Prep School (EPS): June 4-6
Encampment: Students June 26 - July 3, Staff June 25 - July 4



Mankato Squadron Tan T-Shirt - If interested, we have tan t-shirts with the squadron logo on them that can be worn under the ABU’s.  If you are interested they are $12.00 each.  Please see 2nd Lt. Mader if you are interested.
