Commander's Remarks: 

Greetings Seniors, Cadets, and Parents,
This week's meeting will be held at the Terminal Building to give us more room for the awards ceremony at the end of the meeting. Remember to wear your Blues uniform if you have one or ABU’s or Corporate if you don’t. 
Seniors, we will be reviewing duty assignments and requesting volunteers for the open positions. Your participation in this process will make our squadron more dynamic and mission ready. 
Cadets, Blues will be the uniform of the night. There will be Flight Time and Inspections this week, so remember to check your uniforms to ensure they meet regulations and will pass inspections. 
Due to COVID-19 we ask that all members take their temperature at home or by a no-touch thermometer before entering the meeting place. Facial coverings are required indoors, even if social distancing can be maintained. When outdoors, social distancing should be sufficient. Announcements: 
All Testing - Requested by Tuesday Evening 2359H. No exceptions. 

Cadet Staff Training Day - May 8, 1300-1600 at the TacAero Building. Uniforms will be ABU’s. This is required for cadet staff that is selected for the remainder of the 2021 term. 

Mankato Squadron Fun Run Fundraiser - In an effort to promote physical fitness, our squadron will be doing a fundraiser run on May 22, at 8:00 am, at Bluff Park in Mankato. Use this pledge sheet for sponsors. This can be per mile, or as a total amount.

2021 MN Wing Encampment Dates - All activities are being planned at Camp Ripley. Note the CSW and CTW will most likely be hybrid or virtual. EPS and Encampment are dependent upon MN being in phase 3 of COVID-19 remobilization. Applications opening 1st week of May.

Encampment Prep School (EPS): June 4-6
Encampment: Students June 26 - July 3, Staff June 25 - July 4

Mankato Squadron Tan T-Shirt - If interested, we have tan t-shirts with the squadron logo on them that can be worn under the ABU’s.  If you are interested they are $12.00 each.  Please see 2nd Lt. Mader if you are interested.
