Hello MN wing pilots,

Well it's been an interesting month for MN CAP in August. Working through
the wing wide grounding has been a big project for all of us. We have a
good number of pilots that have already completed all three phases of the
training and are cleared to fly again. I am tracking the training on 165
pilots in MN (including active, expired, and cadets). If you
haven't completed the training yet here are links to the required items.

Aircraft Ground handling training is located in e-services in the AXIS
training programs

FRO's - once you have completed the three phases of training you are
eligible to release flights again.

The work on our squadron hangars has been completed at all squadrons that
currently have an airplane, so good work on that!

To get back into the air after the grounding we have two funded missions to
get some proficiency back.
The annual A12 proficiency mission is still open for about a month. Only 32
of our 105 TMP's and MP's have flown on this one so far.
By next weekend I will be putting out the pre briefing for the recently
announced  NHQ  proficiency flight which will run through the end of
December. So that will give us some flying time this fall.
