[Pilots] June CAP stan/eval newsletter

Hello MN wing pilots,

Well the nice warm weather we have been waiting for is here (OK maybe it's
a little too warm now) Hopefully we will all be able to get some flying in
this summer season.
A couple of items to share with you this month in addition to the
NHQ stan/eval newsletter that is attached as well.

- As we transition to the auto billing system for B and C missions in July,
be aware that whoever is listed in the front left seat in WMIRS will be
billed for the B or C mission you are flying. If the flight is funded by
your squadron, state, or other source make sure that is noted so that you
don't get billed for a flight unexpectedly.

- For those flying the "steam gauge" C172 N & P models, make sure you have
the updated normal procedures checklist dated 30 May 2022. Your operations
officer should have changed them, but make sure you have the correct
checklist.

- Unfortunately it looks like the MN wing may be losing 2 airplanes due to
not enough flight hours being put on our fleet, so make sure you are flying
when you can so we can maintain our fleet. There is a lot of funded flying
available, so a lot of times there isn't any cost involved to you.

- I have received word that Vanguard is experiencing supply issues, like
many others, and may be slow in getting uniform pieces shipped. That being
said, we dont want to deny a  cadet orientation flight because a cadet is
missing a minor part of their uniform, like a name badge. We want our
cadets to be able to fly as soon and as much as possible, for their
education and our flight hours.

- For those flying to Lake Elmo (21D) airport, be advised that runway 4-22
closed June 15th for about a month for construction. Runway 14-32 is still
open.
