Hello MNWG/Pilots,



The new fiscal year will be upon us soon, and we are looking forward to a
safe and flight filled Year.



We will be starting off the new year with another Cadet Orientation Flight
blast  on 19 Oct (Rain Out 20 Oct) at The Minnesota Leadership Academy at
Camp Ripley, MN (KRYM).



I am looking for Cadet Orientation Pilots and ground operations staff to
participate in this event, please send a response to this email with the
following information.



   1. Your name, rank, unit, CAPID
   2. A list of currently qualified CAP aircraft
   3. Familiar with WMIRS
   4. Aircraft you are requesting to utilize for this event, or
   transportation plan if you are riding with another pilot or driving to Camp
   Ripley
   5. Confirmation that you have received approval from your leadership to
   participate in this event
   6. Confirmation that you are a current Orientation Pilot IAW with CAPR
   70-1
   7. That you understand the dates and times and are FULLY committing to
   support this event
   8. Any concerns that you may have.  If you have none, respond with
   “None”.



Replies must be received *NLT 01 OCT 2023* for consideration to allow for
final planning and arrangements.



The next step is that requests will be reviewed, aircrews and aircraft will
be assigned, and we will have a kick-off meeting and initial safety
briefing on 11 Oct 2023.
