This is excellent news! Glad to see more standardization in the fleet as well.

Interested to know which aircraft we are looking at to lose in exchange for the new ones.

Thanks!
~Jason

Subject: New Planes coming to MN Wing

Hello MN wing Pilots,

Recognizing the outstanding performance of our pilots in keeping our airplanes flying, and seeing that we have a large number of older C172's, NHQ has decided to send two brand new C172's to our wing. We will be losing two of our older C172's in exchange.
The new planes are currently in the final stages of construction and are scheduled to be delivered to CAP about the 10th of December. We will be picking them up about a week after that, once they have completed their CAP acceptance inspection.

This should greatly help our ability to be able to see G1000 equipped aircraft more often, increasing our proficiency in this system. It also moves us forward in the updating of our fleet to the more modern glass cockpit airplanes.

Take Care, Fly Safe,

Capt. Greg Bestul
