[Pilots] Parking at LVN

Pilots,
As an FYI, the maintenance folks at Airlake have just put out the “No Parking on the Grass” signs (as they do each spring) so until they take those signs down, we should park on hard surfaces only around the hangars, as noted on attached image- unless it is obvious the ground has firmed up and dried out as we get into warmer weather. Activities at the hangar at this time of year present a challenge because of the soggy sod.
There are a total of three (3) hard surface parking spots.
Note: We do not allow pilots to park in front of our meeting hangar where the “no parking” sign is (why there is a red X there) because when they go flying, they block the van inside the hangar and are not available to move their vehicle if needed. However, the spot outside the van bay with the “no parking” sign can be used – but only if the driver of that vehicle stays in or near the hangar so they can move it for van egress or ingress if needed.
The two additional spots to the east of our hangar across the taxiway - those neighboring tenants have agreed to allow CAP members to use those two spaces.
