<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">Hello MN wing pilots,<div><br></div><div>We start out the new year as we do many, wishing and waiting for warmer less snowy weather to go flying!</div><div><br></div><div>This time of year gives us time to catch up on our "paperwork". I have started the project of checking over everyones operations qualifications to make sure they are correct for the upcoming CI inspection. </div><div><br></div><div>I have gone through about half of our pilots so far and am sending out quite a few emails to have items corrected. One area that seems to come up a lot is:</div><div>You can only upload 5 copies of an item into operations qualifications, after the fifth item the oldest item loaded drops off the list.This becomes an issue for FAA licenses. If you load your private/commercial/ATP license then add a CFI and a remote pilot you are up to 3 (assuming you load the front and back of each on one copy) if you renew your CFI a couple of times  it will push your private/commercial/ATP license off the bottom and you will need to reload them. Also if you get a new license and load the temporary certificate, don't forget to upload a copy of the front and back of your permanent license when it comes.</div><div><br></div><div>You will be seeing the new AIF books in the airplanes. As the planes rotate through maintenance the old fat AIF book will be replaced by the new much thinner updated copies.</div><div>I have attached this month's Stan/Eval newsletter from NHQ. It has an article about new AIF books coming to the airplanes.</div><div><br></div><div>Take care, </div><div>Fly safe!</div><div><img src="cid:ii_kyalu2070" alt="image.png" style="margin-right: 0px;" width="236" height="43"><br></div><div><p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Capt. Greg Bestul, CAP<span></span></span></b></p>
