*ATTENTION ST. CROIX SQUADRON!*
It is that time a year again when we participate in the annual Wreaths
Across America wreath laying campaign at Fort Snelling National
Cemetery on *Saturday,
14 DEC 2024.*
We will be gathering at the St. Croix hangar starting at 08:30 am and will
all *leave together NLT 09:00 hours* to travel to Fort Snelling where we
will participate in the events scheduled in the morning.

On arrival, we will check in with the Minnesota Wing project officer to let
them know we are here. Traditionally, we will participate in the setting
up of the main event at the flagpole roundabout and center piece where the
ceremonial service will be held at 11:00 am.

In addition to this we have volunteered to be assigned individual grave
sites where we will go out among the areas, find a specific grave and lay a
wreath for that service member's family that has requested this by the WAA
program. We will record it, lay it at the headstone and give a final
salute with a photo.

There will be a sign up for this at the squadron meeting for the next two
weeks up to this event. If you would like to ride in the squadron van to
and from this event, you need to be quick, *there are only 9 seats open* in
the van. It is on a first come - first served basis.

All others can ride in POV's with other seniors who have signed up as well
if needed ( you will need to specify this) or you and your family can meet
us in the main area at Fort Snelling by 09:30 ish. You cannot miss us. We
intend to leave Fort Snelling at 13:15 at the very latest to come back to
St. Croix.

More details are forthcoming on this event! If you have participated
in the past, you know how this works. Members who show up at STX without
the proper cold weather gear will be sent home with their parents. A
CAPF60-80 is attached to this email and shall be enforced to the letter.
Cadets, Please keep your parents appraised about the details of this event.

This is for a great cause - HOO-AH!
Thank you.
Maj. Richardson, Project officer.
