Commander's Remarks:

This week at our weekly meeting, we will be having Character Development
and Safety training. We will be concluding our meeting with promotions and
the change of command ceremony. Since this is a promotion and Change of
Command Ceremony remember to wear your Blues if you have them. If you don’t
have them, then wear dress clothes. Please remember that for our weekly
meetings, we will, as always, be social distancing and wearing our masks in
accordance with MN Wing directives, but will be outside for part of the
evening (weather permitting).  I hope you can attend.

For those that aren’t comfortable meeting in person yet, we can have live
streaming online.  Please email MankatoCAP at gmail.com if you want to join
online instead of in person.  The health and safety of our members is the
utmost importance to us.   We want everyone to stay healthy and follow the
MN Wing guidelines for our Phase 2 protocol which was emailed out to all
members.  It is also listed on the National website at

Announcements:

All Testing  - Please request your test by TUESDAY EVENING AT 2359H The
squadron is under no obligation to complete your tests if not requested in
advance.



Staff Training Day - Saturday Nov. 7, 0900 to 1500 at the Mankato Airport,
lunch will be provided. It will be a hands on instructional day for cadet
staff. Remember to bring a CAPF 60-80

Color Guard - Will be meeting at 1815 hrs at the airport.  Run through for
Change of Command will be the emphasis for this time block.



Cyberpatriots -  Our next meeting will be Sunday November 8, 2020 from 1 pm
local until 6 pm local at the squadron office. We will be working on the
Practice Round. Bring computers, non-sugar based snacks and water.

The  Practice Round is now open. Check your email for download
instructions. Start working on the images on your own. If you want help
getting files downloaded Contact 1st Lt West at rwest1 at blc.edu.



Round 1 - The first competition round will be November 14 starting at 9 am.

Round 2 - The second competition round will be December 12, 2020 starting
at 9 am.

Round 3 - The third competition round will be January 23, 2021 starting at
9 am.



Kansas Wing Encampment - Salinas, KS - Dec. 26, 2020 -Jan. 2, 2021 Cadets
can attend other wing’s encampments with Squadron commander’s approval.
Please consider attending this great training if you are able.
