Due to MN moving back to PHASE 1 Covid-19 changes, we will be meeting online this week and will address further plans at Thursday’s meeting.

Commander's Remarks: 
With our meetings being online it will be important that everyone is engaged in the meeting to the greatest extent possible. To that end, it is expected that everyone will be in uniform to project a positive and professional image. This week our uniform is either ABU’s / BDU’s or Corporate. Additionally when attending the meeting it is expected that you will have your camera on and that you are visible to others. If  you don’t have a camera please let those in your chair know before the meeting begins. Log in at least 5 minutes prior to the beginning of the meeting to make sure there are not technical difficulties. 
This week we will be having Cyber Patriots training and Emergency Services training with an emphasis item on Chain of Command. 
We want everyone to stay healthy and follow the MN Wing guidelines for our Phase 1 protocol which was emailed out to all members.  It is also listed on the National website at:  https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/covid-19-remobilization <https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/covid-19-remobilization>

All Testing  - Please request your test by TUESDAY EVENING AT 2359H The squadron is under no obligation to complete your tests if not requested in advance. 
 
CyberPatriots -  Our next event for CyberPatriot is Competition Round 1. We will be working from home per CP guidelines. Contact 1st Lt West at rwest1 at blc.edu <mailto:rwest1 at blc.edu> to coordinate your time slot and which image you will be working on. Links and download instructions to the competition images will be provided to those who contact me.
Round 1 - The first competition round will be November 12-15, 2020.
Round 2 - The second competition round is December 11-13, 2020.
Round 3 - The third competition round is January 22-23, 2020.
Arrangements for the 2nd and 3rd rounds will be scheduled as we go.
 
Kansas Wing Encampment - Salinas, KS - Dec. 26, 2020 -Jan. 2, 2021 Cadets can attend other wing’s encampments with Squadron commander’s approval.  Please consider attending this great training if you are able.
