Hello MN wing pilots,

I know there are several of you that have discovered that the MN supplement
to CAP 70-1 regulation has disappeared. I wanted to give you a little
background on this and let you know what is going on.
A little over a year ago we submitted an update to our supplement due to
the change in the 70-1 regulations which changed a lot of the reference
numbers. We also made some minor changes to some of the text along with the
numbering changes
It seems that the proposed revision got stuck in someone's inbox for
several months, then once the process picked back up our old supplement was
deleted but NHQ wanted some further changes to our replacement supplement
before it became active. We are in the process of putting in the
corrections and resubmitting the supplement for approval.
In the meantime we will continue to fuel our airplanes to the recommended
quantity we have been using for the past several years.
C172N and P fill to full
C172S 17 gal per tank
C182 27 gal per tank
These are recommended amounts to help to avoid weight and balance problems.
If your mission requires, you may carry as much fuel as needed, just be
aware of what your take off and landing weights will be, and that you will
remain within limitations.

I will follow up with further details when they become available.

Respectfully,
