[Pilots] CAP aircraft fueling update and revised mission symbols

Hello MN wing pilots,

I wanted to correct the recommended fuel loading I put out in the MN wing
supplement email on Tuesday. I forgot to take into account the two unique
airplanes we have in the fleet. So the updated fueling levels should be
as follows.
C172 N and P     Fill tanks to full
C172S G1000    17 gal in each wing
C182T G1000    27 gal in each wing
C182T Round gauge (828CP) fill each tank to bottom of filler neck  32 gal
in each wing
C182R (9799E) fill each tank to bottom of filler neck 34.5 gal in each tank

The two round gauge C182 models are much lighter weight, so even with the
extra fuel they are lighter than the G1000  planes with standard fuel load.
It will also be easier to fuel to the tabs on these planes and not have to
use fuel sticks.

Another item to bring to your attention is that as of 1 Oct 2021 the
mission symbols have been revised. They can be found in CAP standard 72-2,
I have attached a copy of the revised mission symbols. The changes are:
Removed mission symbols: A16, B3, and B17.
Edited Mission Symbols: A22, A26, A42, A52, A62, A63, B10, B13, B14,
B21, B22.
Added Mission Symbols: B40 and B41

Finally, with the calendar turning over to October, we could be looking at
the white stuff by the end of the month. Time to start preparing for cold
weather operations and planning when to do the winter ops briefing in your
squadron. The briefing can be found on the MN wing website in the
operations tab > then standardized procedures and training
