[Pilots] SGS closing and Task reminder

Hello MN wing pilots

Wanted to give a heads up that South St Paul, Fleming field, (KSGS) runway
will be closed for reconstruction from this Monday August 8 until August
26. There will also be varying taxiway closures from now thru Sept 5. Check
NOTAMs for reopening. No CAP planes will be at the wing hanger during this
time. All maintenance will be completed at Stanton.
Also there will be a 3 day closure of the SGS airport in October for runway
grooving. Keep an eye on the NOTAMS for dates.

Reminder that August is the month to complete the safety tasks sent out
last month. Hangers need to be marked and approved and ALL pilots need to
complete the Threat and Error management program. I already have about 20
pilots that have completed the TEM program.

Some good news, as the airplanes rotate through maintenance the tired old
red Cessna towbar will be retired and replaced with a VASTLY superior new
blue towbar. Look for and enjoy using this new piece of equipment.
