[Pilots] Pilots Wanted!

Hello MNWG/Pilots,

 

We have been asked to support one of the core missions of Civil Air Patrol,
Cadet Programs, at the Minnesota Wing Encampment at Camp Ripley, MN by
providing Cadet Orientation Flights on June 28th-June 29th (Rain Out June
30th).

 

We have made some adjustments to the OPS plan this year and will be having
the pilots report to Camp Ripley some time on Wednesday, June 28th for an
initial briefing at 2000HRS.  We will tentatively spend the night on post so
we can maximize our duty day on Thursday, June 29th before returning to our
units.  If needed, we can muster at the new MNWG/Facility at KHCD and fly
out on Thursday morning (50 NM Flight). 

 

This is the largest gathering of CAP Cadets in MNWG annually and provides a
great opportunity to provide orientation flights to cadets that come in from
squadrons that do not have an aircraft assigned to their unit. 

 

Our goal is to safely and efficiently provide as many orientation flights as
possible in the duty day and we NEED YOU!

 

Please make sure that you consider the arrangements needed before committing
to the this effort so that we can properly commit resources and schedule
operations.

 

I will be sending out a formal sign-up and commitment statement in May.
