[Pilots] URGENT Changes to ORM and FRO checklist

Hello MN Wing Pilots,

Today NHQ rolled out a big change to the ORM and FRO checklists that need to be filled out to release flights.
The changes to the ORM are fairly minor. The changes to the FRO checklist are many, and some are confusing to figure out what they are looking for. I have attached a copy of the new FRO checklist that has been filled out, and was acceptable to WMIRS.
The biggest confusion seems to be the FRO mountain flying qualification. I don't think we have any members that have completed mountain flying evaluations, or have that qualification, so you should be checking the "I have never held a CAP MFE or completed a CAP MFC (DO NOT RELEASE)" bubble for that question. (you can't release mountain flights but can release our flights because they will not be operating in mountainous terrain) . The other question that is poorly presented is the flight plan question. If the flight is going to be conducted within 50 NM and you answer yes to that question, the next question should be answered N/A (in my attached copy the program changed it to No - DO NOT RELEASE)  either should work and you will be able to release the flight.
As always make sure you fill out all the questions to be able to release the flight.

I have contacted both NCR and NHQ DO's to try and get some guidance and/or corrections to the FRO checklist. NHQ responded with "there was a disconnect between IT and ops on the roll out of these changes". Hopefully corrections will be forthcoming.
